The classic version of Daumenfrosch appeared on 4chan's /pol/ board on the 27th of March 2018. It became a viral sensation and is a key part of the pepe family, often seen as the antagonist to Apu Apastaja. 'Daumenfrosch' translates into German as 'Thumb Frog'. His easy to draw appearance has inspired multiple versions of him, leading many to believe theres nothing daumen can't do.

Like all great CTO's some misguided dev launched Daumenfrosch and swiftly dumped his supply. A team of united degens, with past experience in large CTO's came together and began to meme. These degens discovered that not only did daumen have a booty, but that he often wore a pink thong (As am I whilst typing this), today Daumen is set to become one of the largest memes in the ERC space, and has all the potential to flip Apu (respectfully).

The future of Daumen is clear, the meme has viral potential, the community doesn't know what quit is. It is not if it is when for daumen, he will assert himself as one of the top memes on ETH (the real home of memes...) and throughout crypto.
